Common loads include inductive loads, capacitive loads, and resistive loads. Their differences are as follows:

• Inductive loads: Lamps that give out light by gaseous conduction, such as fluorescent, high pressure sodium, and mercury lamps.

• Capacitive loads: Electrical loads with capacitors in the circuit, where the capacitors are purely capacitive loads, such as compensation capacitors in computers, televisions, and other electrical equipment.

• Resistive loads: Loads where there is no phase difference in comparison with the source, such as incandescent light bulbs, electric stoves, and electric cookers.
