Smart Circuits

The FranklinWH system can use the Smart Circuits Module to provide homeowners with direct control of three unique circuits. The Smart Circuits Module is an optional component of the aGate.

How It Works

Homeowners can configure the power supply plan for the three Smart Circuits to automatically start/stop based on battery reserve, thus shed large power loads connected on Smart Circuits to conserve more energy in grid outages. The circuits may also be manually controlled as needed.

How to Configure It

  1. On your energy home screen, tap Settings > Smart Circuits.

  2. After reading the Smart Circuits feature description, tap Next. There are two 120 V and one 240 V Smart Circuits. The 120V circuits are suitable for general appliances, while the 240 V circuit is suitable for high-power appliances. Smart Circuit 1 & Smart Circuit 2 can be used as a single, 2-pole circuit.
  3. Tap the Circuit Name bar, input the new circuit name, and then tap Next.

  4. Turn on the SOC Threshold slider to enable the setting, and then tap Next.
  5. Customized power supply solutions for a circuit.

You can set the cycle interval and execution time, allowing the system to work intelligently and meet your power consumption requirements.
  6. After setting up the power supply plan for the circuit, enter the smart circuits details page.

Note: You can also tap the button next to the circuit name to manually turn the circuit on or off.
  7. Repeat the above steps to configure all Smart Circuits.

Only Smart Circuit 3 supports metered electrical schedule settings. You can set the pre-charge amount and start time to be used for charging an electric car.
